Inspired by traditional crafts these sculptures aim to explore the practise of weaving. Through the properties of the materials used, the functional purpose of the weave is removed resulting in a rigid aesthetic object without a traditional functional quality. The form of these sculptures made of aluminium rods; plasticine and wire are inspired by photos of Dark Age cloaks.
